NHS Nene CCG is to launch the Communication and Engagement Strategy - Patient representatives needed!
NHS Nene CCG is to launch the Communication and Engagement Strategy and recognises good engagement as being integral to the success of the organisation. This includes patients, public, carers, staff, primary care members and all stakeholders.
There is evidence of good communication and engagement across the organisation but there are many opportunities for improvement.
To support the implementation of the strategy and ensure communication and engagement is embedded into the culture of Nene, we are looking for patient representatives who are able to support Nene in sharing the work we do; informing us of patients’ experiences of local health services, to help us shape the future health economy.
There is to be a launch event of 8th June 2017 at Towcester Rugby Club which is to be facilitated by Education for Health and will include members of the GP federations and the public. The aim is to identify opportunities for engagement, discuss the role of patient leaders and to support implementation of the communication and engagement strategy.
