Designed by a psychological well-being practitioner for the NHS in Northants and a Doctor, these online groups provide support, education and practical help for those suffering from sleep issues, general anxiety, social anxiety, low mood, stress and distress. They are based on and draw from aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy. They are available for absolutely anybody in the Northants area who feels they could benefit.  Although the groups are designed for all ages we would also like to do some specialised groups for young people in the future, maybe starting with managing exam stress and anxiety.

The groups we run now are designed to be easy to access especially for the tech savvy younger generation (all you need is an e-mail address and a PC, laptop, smart phone or tablet), the mode of delivery means we can potentially reach huge numbers of people and certain groups of people who previously would have found it hard or impossible to do face-to-face group therapy.

LEARNING TO RELAX and manage Anxiety

Live webinar - sessions are recorded so you can access them at your own convenience, helping you to manage your stress, anxiety and emotions in an increasingly frantic world.                                                                                                        

What is it?

A 4 week live online webinar course that starts 11th of March which will provide you with the skills to manage your anxiety by triggering your body’s relaxation response.

  • This can improve attention and decision-making, lead to healthier immune systems and many other benefits.
  • The skills we will cover are based on current research into stress and anxiety management.


What do I need?
There is no cost, you will remain completely anonymous and all you need is an email address, an internet connection and one of the following: Tablet, PC, Laptop or Smartphone.

Who can access this?
ANYONE! If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or struggling to manage worry then this webinar could help you. These are things everyone experiences throughout their lives so this course is available to staff and patients as anonymity is guaranteed using the webinar software.
