2 Days PB Foundation Training course for the Head/Deputy Head/ Designated Safeguarding Lead and PSHE Coordinator in your school (2 people) with a focus on CSE on Day Two.

PB  Foundation Training and CSE Awareness 2015/16 

Training will be delivered by trainers from the Protective Behaviours Training Partnership with support and input from John Fardon – Education Entitlement Officer – Mental Health, Educational Psychology Service, Learning Skills & Education, Northamptonshire County Council.

Who is eligible for this training?  The Head/Deputy Head/Safeguarding Lead and PSHE Coordinator for each school are invited to attend the two day course.

Each Foundation Training lasts 2 days. The first day will cover the whole process of Protective Behaviours, the two themes and seven strategies.  The second day will recap the process, consider PB & CSE materials, develop CSE awareness  and clarify what can be delivered to each school by the participants. Each pair of participants will receive a Powerpoint  presentation on PBs and CSE and are expected to share these with staff  and use the resources  in their school.  10 schools can be accommodated on each course, creating capacity for training 120 schools from September 2015 – April 2016.  It is hoped that funding will be available to train more schools in 2016/17.

Participants to bring their own lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.  Sessions start at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm.
