Self Harm and Suicidal Ideation conference -Thursday 2 October at Kettering Conference Centre

Dear colleagues,

As you are all aware, self-harm has been a key issue not only for young people in our county, but indeed has been an area on the rise across the country. We will be holding 3 conferences on the 2nd October 2014 to help colleagues understand a number of issues and provide tools to help them work with young people to better support them.

As a children’s partnership, we have been working together to refresh the self-harm toolkits and pathways using local, national and best practice interventions. There are resources for young people, created by young people that will be showcased at these events, as well as an overview of the hospital pathways for acute self-harm.
