Organised jointly by the Northamptonshire Educational Psychology Service and CAMHS Early Response & Intervention Team, this conference will enable built capacity in your primary or secondary school to meet children’s mental health and behavioural needs through your attendance and engagement with: -
An Inspirational Key Note address by Peter Harper, Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has extensive experience as a clinician, therapist, trainer and supervisor; and is co-author of Keys to Happier Living Toolkit for Primary Schools, a resource for teachers to teach children the skills for emotional wellbeing and resilience, in association with ‘Action for Happiness’.
A choice of 8 half-day TaMHS morning courses, focused on needs: ADHD; Adolescent Brains; Autistic Spectrum; Anxiety & Anger; Building Exam Resilience; Loss Separation & Bereavement; Loneliness; and Self-harm.
A range of stalls show-casing interventions, resources and local support agencies - for perusing during breaks and lunch.
A choice of 8 half-day afternoon courses, focused on interventions for use in schools:Evaluating Mental Health Interventions; Mindfulness; Peer Support & Mentoring;Promoting Social Inclusion; Theraplay; Transitions with Attachment in Mind; Using Drawing, Talking, Puppets & Stories; and Video Interaction Guidance.
An alternative to half-day morning courses, focused on primary school staff: shorter interactive sessions re: Staff wellbeing; Gender Identity; Becoming a TaMHS Accredited Gold School; Emotion Coaching; and Massage in Schools Programme.
An alternative to half-day afternoon courses, for secondary school staff: shorter interactive sessions re: Gender Identity; My FRIENDS Youth KS4 Resilience Building Programme; Talk Out-loud & Mental Health Stigma Programme Accreditation; TaMHS Accreditation for Secondary Schools; and Staff wellbeing.

Bookings will close when full capacity is reached or at midnight on 21st July 2017. Confirmation of your pathway will be provided early in September 2017. All courses with good take-up will be run.
