Hi friends, 

We’re building a climbing centre!

As you already know about the great work that iDID does, I am sure I don’t have to remind you of that but needless to say, our work supports countless young people.

We would love many more people to benefit from what we do, locally and nationally. 

So, we have a plan…

With indoor climbing being our core sport, there is a an opportunity for us to own our very own climbing centre.  And we are going to build it!

We are going to specialise in a bouldering facility, that’s climbing without ropes.

Based in Corby, it’s the perfect location.

Why are we doing this? 

As a not for profit organisation, we have to apply for funding to do other special events.  It’s a very laborious and sometimes unproductive path.  Having or own climbing centre allows us to be self-funding  and take us to another level.

We have already raised 64% of the funds we need to build the centre, but we now need your help.

Last week we launched our Facebook page and Twitter account.  If you haven’t already done so, then please head over and give us a LIKE or FOLLOW us.

We need £75 000 to complete the funding target for the project.  To do this we have created a project on Crowdfunder.  Corby Climbing Centre - Crowdfunder

We have 42 days to reach this target and if we don’t achieve all of this… we don’t get a climbing centre, it’s as simple as that.

Please look what we are offering on our Crowdfunding page, if you like anything you see, then please purchase it.  We would love to hear suggestions from you too.  What would you like to be offered and how much would you be willing to pay for it?

Most important of all, please tell everyone you know, far and wide about the project.  Friends, family, your employer, your local club, everyone. 

Even if somebody lives nowhere near Corby, our ambitions may well bring us to their door one day.
